Héctor has more than 16 years of experience and has focused his practice on financial law, including banking, Fintech, blockchain and digital assets including NFTs.
Likewise, he has participated in mergers and acquisitions, project financing transactions, international trade, e-commerce, and corporate debt restructuring, representing national and international clients in the private and public sectors in the structuring and implementation of multiple national financial transactions. and cross-border in each of these areas. Héctor is an expert in financial regulation issues related to institutions subject to supervision by the National Banking and Securities Commission (CNBV), in particular framework conditions and structural aspects of banks, Fintech companies, investment firms and fund managers.
He regularly advises on matters related to the establishment and organization of new institutions, license applications, internal policies, regulatory compliance manuals, privacy policies, preparation of terms and conditions, contracts with clients and product development, as well as compliance with the framework conditions.
He has participated in the structuring in Mexico of several projects related to wallets, crowdfunding, open banking, sandbox and NFTs, as well as in obtaining licenses from financial entities for the implementation of said structures.
