Gisela has worked in the public and private sectors as well as taught at a university for more than 25 years, both in Colombia and Mexico. He began his professional career at the National Tax and Customs Directorate of Colombia DIAN, later at the Tec de Monterrey and at Deloitte Mexico City and Guadalajara, where he developed all kinds of projects related to foreign trade operations, with a wide variety of companies and work teams.
In his professional practice, he has supported the analysis and implementation of foreign trade operations that include both prior analysis and compliance in terms of tariff classification; customs valuation; use of International Treaties; Determination of origin; Obtaining, managing and controlling promotion programs, certifications and permits such as IMMEX, PROSEC, 8th Rules, VAT and IEPS and OEA Certification.
