Fabián has more than 23 years of professional experience in the areas of Auditing, Accounting and Finance. He has attended national and international companies, in multiple industries, mainly in manufacturing, consumption and services.
Fabian worked in local firms in Guadalajara from September 1997 to December 1999. In January 2001, he joined Deloitte in the Audit area where he worked for approximately 14 years. He was Senior Audit Manager, he has international experience as he was an Auditor in the Deloitte office in Silicon Valley (San José California) for 18 months, in addition to serving clients in Cuba in coordination with the Edmonton Canada office.
Fabián has also been Director of Finance and Administration in Mexican business groups, accumulating 4 years of experience as head of the financial and controller areas of said groups, having numerous teams in charge.
Fabián has been an Audit and Consulting Partner at Calatrava Consultores since October 2018. He has been responsible for developing external audit, internal audit, risk management and business consulting practices, as well as financial advisory.
Fabián is an expert in IFRS, US GAAP and Mexican Financial Information Standards and is a Certified Public Accountant by the Mexican Institute of Public Accountants (C.P.C.) and by the California Board of Accountancy (CPA).
